My first and most important tip is to hire the right size skip.
Many people are not aware that they will be charged if they over fill their skip and that the driver will refuse to take the skip away; this is not the skip hire companies trying to make a few extra pounds but it is infact the law as they are not allowed to carry an unsafe load. Therefore my advice is to order a larger skip than you may need. Going the next size up may cost you more inially but it may save you alot of money and hassle in the end.
